Message from The President
I want to
welcome you to our Moussadou community web site. Please take a moment to
browse our web pages and find out more about what we are doing, what we
stand for and our vision for the future. We are a strong community with
a mission to be the trail blazer of unity, progress and development in
the USA and at home (Moussadou).
I am
privileged to serve as the National President since the formation of the
Association in 2000 because; the founders, executive officers and loyal
members have made that possible. I am very grateful for the overwhelming
support and trust from the membership to lead the organization in this
moment of great challenges and opportunities.
I will briefly
state some of my personal goals and commitment to serve with dedication
and distinction. First, I want to motivate every members of this
association to participate in our effort to build a unified Community in
America and even beyond. I believe that trust is a process and it is a
relationship that you build with time. I am eager to lead the most
transparent and accountable organization in the Diaspora combined with a
style of professionalism, unwavering integrity, and sound ethical
conducts.
Secondly, together with your support, I want to move
the association forward. It is my philosophy that we should always look
at the ways in which we are similar and not where we are different. We
must promote the concept of being from Moussadou, descended of Moussadou
or friends of Moussadou first and as ethnic identity as secondary. A
beloved community comes through persistent tolerance, brotherhood and
communal love regardless of one's political or religious affiliations,
social status and gender.
Indeed, a journey of a thousand miles
begins with a single foot step. I urge you to use this web site as an
inter active tool, a place of great conversations, an avenue to give
your generous donation to support our worthy causes; a medium to display
the passion to serve others and the hope that a united effort with
honest leadership can lead us to better days ahead.
I hope you
will find our Web site very informative and resourceful. Again, thank
you for visiting this site and we encourage you to do so often.
Regards,
Layee Mory Dore
National President
